Trevor Knudtson

Trevor graduated from Utah State University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and earned the RETIREMENT INCOME CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL (RICP®) designation in 2024. Trevor’s professional career includes experience as a Financial Service Representative for a national firm, working as a Financial Planner for a local RIA firm in Salt Lake City, Utah, and 4 years working as an advisor with the McGarry Retirement team. Fourteen years of experience paired with his RICP® certification has prepared him to confidently guide you in creating a family financial plan and developing a detailed retirement income plan.


Trevor was born in Nebraska – which helps explain his love of college football (Go Huskers) but has spent most of his life in Utah. Trevor met his wife, Jackie, while attending USU they currently live in Farmington with their two children, Ella and Carter. In his spare time, Trevor enjoys hiking, biking, watching sports, playing softball and spending time with his family.
